Description

The HGUC SINANJU STEIN (NARRATIVE VER.) [EXTRA FINISH] THE GUNDAM BASE LIMITED is a 1/144 scale kit released in 2019 exclusively for The Gundam Base.

The latter includes: The Hg Sinanju Stein with two beam sabers, hands, a pair of versatile weapon supports, an open left hand and right hand for trigger, a beam riffle and its grenade launcher, a shield and a bazooka. An additional muzzle (to be combined with the HBR) is also provided.

Kit Features and Gadgets

Weapons/Other Gadgets

The hands are interchangeable.
At least one of the dorsal parts must be removed and fixed on the bare left hand with an open palm.
Each weapon must be wielded by its respective hand part.
The side leg thrusters can be recreated in high mobility mode by slightly rearranging the parts and flipping the rear leg panels.
The grenade launcher can be removed from the shield and attached to the high radius rifle.
The Bazooka can... be used as a sidearm and combine with the High Beam Rifle via a muzzle parts swap.
The forearm panels can be removed to reveal the hilts of the ray sabers, and they can be optionally removed as sidearms.
The Stein Sinanju can be mounted on the Action Base. (sold separately).

Tips and tricks

Due to the coating of the parts at the same time as the pad (and the absence of undercoats), cutting the parts from the sprues can leave marks, even if precautions are taken.
Likewise, the tabs/notches on some parts may be very tight during assembly, requiring some scraping.
If possible, marks can be repaired by applying metallic colors that match the coated plastic.

It is preferable to use quality pliers to assemble models with a special coating or finish to minimize marks during cutting.
