GSW SILICON PUTTY 200GR.

Green Stuff World Silicone Sealant is a silicone that can easily be mixed and applied by hand. It is mixed in equal amounts (1A:1B) by volume.

Green Stuff World Silicone Sealant has a 2,5 minute working time with a curing time of 10 minutes. Shrinkage is minimal (0,03%), and the silicone once cured is exceptionally strong and durable (breaking strength 6 N/mm). Withstands temperatures up to 150°C.

Other applications include: making quick mold impressions of almost any surface, orthotics, jewelry making and more.

Silicone curing may be inhibited by certain contaminants in or on the pattern to be molded. The result is stickiness to the pattern or a complete lack of cure throughout the entire mold. Wear vinyl gloves only, since latex gloves prevent the hardening of the rubber. Additionally, silicone tin hardener, sulfur clays, some wood surfaces, newly cast polyester resin, epoxy or urethane rubber may cause inhibition.

If compatibility between silicone rubber and surface is a concern, small-scale testing is recommended. Apply a small amount to a non-critical area of the pattern. Inhibition has occurred if the rubber is gummy or uncured after the cure time.
