GSW ULTRAVIOLET WATER EFFECT RESIN 30ML

GSW offers a completely new alternative for artists and modelers looking to create water effects with this Ultraviolet Resin.

A one-step gel with crystal clear transparency, squeeze this product straight from the bottle onto your diorama or miniature base to create stunning replicas of the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds or puddles. It has a multitude of advantages over other traditional ways of creating water effects:

• Ultra-fast drying gel. This product can be combined with a UV flashlight (LINK) to dry in 2-4 minutes. In sunny weather, the gel has a drying time of 5 to 10 minutes. On cloudy days, 20 to 40 minutes.
• Can be dyed.UV resin can be mixed with any of our Intensity or Dye inks (LINK) (LINK) to tint the gel in just a few drops, creating different types of water, such as muddy swamps or radioactive lakes. IMPORTANT! If you would like to dye with our CANDY inks (LINK), it must be applied once the resin is completely hardened.
• Does not shrink. UV resin does not shrink like other water reproduction materials. The amount of resin used is the amount of resin you get when completely dried
• Accepts multiple layers. If you want to create a submerged effect in water, you can place several layers on top of each other without leaving marks.
• Can be cut, polished and worked easily. The resin is easy to handle and can be shaped and sculpted however you want!

*When the resin is in a liquid state, you can use a heat gun or kitchen lighter to heat the resin and squeeze out air bubbles, if necessary.
*Remember that the resin will remain in a gel state until a natural or ultraviolet light source comes into contact with it.
* Do not expose the inside of the bottle to natural light, otherwise the gel may trigger a reaction and crystallize.

UV Resin Warnings

– Environmental conditions can affect material properties. Its use is recommended in a dry and ventilated place and at a temperature between 18ºC and 25ºC.
Extreme cold and heat can damage the material.
– Its use in unsuitable conditions, exposure to insufficient UV light or lack of power of UV light, can make the surface, once hardened, sticky or biting to the touch. We recommend extending your exposure to UV rays or applying a glossy varnish.
– We recommend consuming the product within 10 months from the date of purchase. The shelf life of the product may decrease after opening depending on the state of storage, exposure to ultraviolet rays and low temperatures.
