ROG CONTEST 2022 • CUSTOM MECHA CUSTOM MUSUME STRAIGHT BUILD

Judging criteria:

Mechas Category – The judging criteria will be as follows:
– The overall level of work
– The quality of the paint
- Creativity

Category Musume – The judging criteria will be as follows: 
– The overall level of work
– The quality of the paint
- Creativity

Straight Build Category – The judging criteria will be as follows:
– The overall level of work
- The cleanliness
– Photo quality
– The concept (pose, staging, etc.)

Rules and eligibility:

– The competition is open internationally.
– Minor candidates must have the agreement of their legal representative to participate in the competition.
– The production must be made by the candidate who presents it.
– The product cannot exceed the size of 50 x 50 x 50 cm.
– Candidates must provide 4 photos of the finalized build: Front/Left/Right/Back.
– 2 additional photos including the pass must be taken during the completion (beginning and end) of your project. You can download the pass here.
– Candidates can post 2 additional photos to highlight certain aspects of their achievements.
– It is entirely possible to participate in several categories at the same time with different works.
– It is prohibited to participate several times in the same category.
– The use of a work made before the competition is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Mecha Category:
– Any model can be used as long as it remains in the mecha universe and is not counterfeit.
– Unlicensed resin conversion kits are prohibited.
– Scratchbuild and Kitbash are encouraged.
– Painting is mandatory.
– 3D printing is authorized up to 20% of the finished project.
– The diorama is not obligatory and will not result in penalties. However, it offers a bonus.

Category Musume :
– Any model can be used as long as it remains in the universe Musume (girls) and that it is not counterfeit.
– Scratchbuild and Kitbash are encouraged.
– Painting is mandatory.
– 3D printing is authorized up to 20% of the finished project.
– The diorama is not obligatory and will not be includedîwill not be subject to penalties. However, it offers a bonus.

Straight Build category:
– Any model can be used as long as it remains in the mecha universe and is not counterfeit.
– Painting is prohibited except for panel lining.
– 3D printing, kitbash and scratchbuild are prohibited.
– The diorama is not obligatory and will not result in penalties. It will not bring any bonus.
– The addition of parts from other kits is prohibited
– Adding stickers and decals not from the original box is prohibited.
– The addition of plaplate or scribing is prohibited
– The addition of LEDs is prohibited.
– The use of support (action base type) is authorized.
– Finishing varnish is permitted.

Further information

In the event of a violation of these regulations, the organizer is entitled to disqualify the candidate in question without notice and to recover the rewards awarded.
Throughout the competition, the organizer may contact the candidate for various confirmations.
Failure to respond to these contacts may result in the disqualification of the candidate.
During the confirmation process, additional images of the creation may be requested.
Failure to provide additional requested images may result in disqualification of the candidate.
Candidates are required to ensure their right to use decorative elements produced by third parties or found on the internet.
Candidates have the right to present a proposed creation in another competition if the organizers of said competition authorize it and as long as it was made during the duration of this competition.
The winners will also have the opportunity to exhibit their creations in our Parisian store.
For people under 18 years old wishing to participate, a parental waiver will be requested. 

Confidentiality agreement

By registering, candidates authorize RISE OF GUNPLA to use their personal information for the following purposes:

• Management of registrations for this competition.
• Correspondence with candidates, for verifications and information on the progress of the competition.
• Display of achievements with candidate's name (and other profile information) and other uses.

  Apart from the elements detailed in these regulations, the personal information of candidates will not be shared with third parties without the authorization of the candidates or legal obligation.
